A fight near 75 Plaza Street last night ended with two young men being hospitalized for multiple stab wounds.
Just after 9:30 p.m. Friday, Leesburg Police Department responded to a report of a fight in progress involving several people. Upon arrival, a 20 year-old man was located with multiple lacerations to his head, neck and arms.
Due to high winds, the victim was not flown, but transported by ambulance to the hospital where he is currently being treated, according to Leesburg Police.
While on the scene and investigating the incident, police learned that a second victim, a 19 year-old man that is believed to be involved in the fight, was located inside of a vehicle involved in a traffic stop. This victim was also found to be suffering from multiple lacerations to his hands and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation, and the Leesburg Police Department is asking any witnesses or anyone who has information on the situation to call 703-771-4500.
