For the third year, the Leesburg Daybreak Rotary Club pitched in to give a merry Christmas to children served at the HealthWorks for Northern Virginia office in Leesburg.
More than 100 children attended the Saturday afternoon party and each received new toy provided by the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys-For-Tots campaign.
Even Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce President Tony Howard helped out, donning Santa’s coat and beard to distribute gifts.
About 20 members of the joint Interact and Future Business Leaders of America club at Loudoun County High School America provided crafts and led activities.
HealthWorks is a nonprofit, federally qualified health center created in 2007 to provide health care in a medical home setting to those who have limited or no health insurance. The office is located at 163 Fort Evans Road NE. For more information, go to hwnova.org.
