Arrests Made in Business Burglary Spree

Three suspects are in custody following a regional investigation into a series of burglaries at Northern Virginia businesses, including eight in Loudoun County.

The suspects have been connected to more than 20 burglaries, most at Asian restaurants.

Kai Lansana, 25, of Manassas, has been charged in Loudoun County with seven counts of burglary, seven counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, seven counts of grand larceny, seven counts of conspiracy to commit larceny and seven counts of possession of burglarious tools. Lea Culbreath, 24, of Manassas, has been charged in Loudoun County with three counts of burglary, three counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, three counts of grand larceny, three counts of conspiracy to commit larceny and three counts of possession of burglarious tools. A third suspect is in custody on unrelated charges and is facing charges in Loudoun County of seven counts of burglary, seven counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, seven counts of grand larceny, seven counts of conspiracy to commit larceny and seven counts of possession of burglarious tools.

Three suspects are in custody in Prince William County. Additional arrests are possible.

Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman credited the cooperation of multiple law enforcement agencies for breaking the cases. Seven of the connected burglaries occurred in Loudoun and one in Leesburg. Burglaries also happened in Frederick County, Prince William County, the City of Manassas, Stafford County, the City of Fredericksburg and Fairfax County.

The Loudoun burglaries happened in September to October at King’s Buffet in Cascades, Good Fortune restaurant in Junction Plaza, Hunan Village in Piccadilly Plaza, the Panda Café in Leesburg, Los Teltecos in Broadlands, and the Oriental Express, Vivi Nail and Spa, and Punjab Sweets on West Church Road in Sterling.

Detectives from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office worked on the cases with with the Town of Leesburg Police Department, the Prince William County Police Department, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Manassas Police Department, the Fairfax County Police Department, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Fredericksburg Police Department.
