Four Washington, DC, residents face forgery charges after they were suspected of using counterfeit money at the Dulles Town Center mall.
Deputies were called to a store Tuesday afternoon after the bills were discovered. They found the suspects in a vehicle in the parking lot.
Steven M. Bailey, 23, Shadarryl U. Barnes, 45, Marquet R. Harris, 27, and Tyree D. Jackson, 24, all of Washington, DC were arrested.
Bailey, Barnes and Jackson are charged with forging bank notes or coins, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of forged bank notes or coins and obtaining money by false pretenses. Harris is charged with obtaining money by false pretenses, forging bank notes or coins, and possession of forged bank notes or coins.
All four men were held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
