Fuller Chosen to Fill Purcellville Council Seat

Melanie Fuller is the newest member of the Purcellville Town Council.

Fuller has lived in town since 2006, serves on the Board of Zoning Appeals and is a past member of the town’s Economic Development Advisory Committee.

She was selected from among four candidates interviewed Tuesday night to fill the council seat vacated by the Jan. 12 resignation of Vice Mayor Ben Packard, who is moving. Fuller will serve in the seat until a special election is held May 3.

After interviewing the candidates in public, the council debated their selection in closed session.

The other candidates were Eamon McAdoo Coy, Amanda Athilia Kadilak and James O. Wiley.
