The deadline for residents to make their suggestions about revisions to the Purcellville Comprehensive Plan has been extended to March 4.
The town held town public input sessions on the subject Feb. 6, but is seeking to more comments before beginning review of community development policies that will shape the future of the town.
Senior Planner Daniel Galindo said the town is trying to notify everyone in town, including those who might not commonly follow planning issues, that the plan is being updated and to encourage their response.
During Saturday’s Loudoun Grown Expo at the Bush Tabernacle, the members of the town planning staff will have a table with information about the project and will answer questions.
Comments can be made online. Go to planpurcellville.com/Get-Involved to view the exercises. They include a survey of what residents consider important in Purcellville and a mapping exercise that asks what areas in and around the town should be preserved, developed or redeveloped. The mapping plan needs to be printed and returned to Town Hall, 221 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville 20132 by March 4.
