As the Washington Redskins’ rookie mini-camp gets underway, some players might be forgiven if they’re tempted to don Seahawks uniforms.
The string of grey, rainy days across the region continues, but players won’t find much comfort when they head to the practice field. The team’s inflated practice bubble collapsed under the weight of snow during January’s blizzard.
The team had hoped to quickly re-inflate the structure, but found more damage than expected. Now, the team hopes to have the bubble back up next month, in time to allow for some indoor team activities before training camp starts in Richmond in July.
