Sheriff’s Office Plans Sobriety Check Point Tonight

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a joint sobriety check point with the Virginia State Police tonight starting at 10 p.m.

Members of the Loudoun Sheriff’s Office Auxiliary Unit and volunteers from the Loudoun Chapter of MADD will assist with the checkpoint. The location of sobriety check points are not publicized beforehand.

“The joint sobriety checkpoint is a reminder to residents to make the smart choice, don’t drink and drive,” Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman said in announcing the check point.
