Viva Loudoun: 7 Loudoun Teams Win State Championships

Loudoun County high schools brought home seven state championships today.

For boys lacrosse, Briar Woods clinched the 5A state title, and Dominion took the 4A championship. In girls lacrosse, Potomac Falls beat George Marshall for the 5A state championship, and Woodgrove outpaced George Mason for the 4A state title.

Woodgrove’s softball team also snatched the 4A state title.

In soccer, Park View boys won the 4A state title over Chancellor. Loudoun County girls soccer team won the 4A state championship over Salem. Tuscarora’s girls soccer team fell to Mills Godwin (4-3) and fell short of the 5A state championship.
