Town Council candidate Gwen Pangle will host her campaign kick-off this weekend.
Scheduled for Sunday, June 26, from 1 to 3 p.m., Pangle’s kick-off will be held at the future site of Dog Money Restaurant and Brewery. Located at the former Vintage 50 space at 50 Catoctin Circle, it will be a chance for attendees to tour the soon-to-open establishment as well as sample some of brewmaster Dean Lakes’ brews. Food from Pittsburgh Rick’s and Mom’s Apple Pie will also be available.
Pangle is running for one of three seats on the ballot in November’s general election. The field of candidates also includes incumbents Tom Dunn and Katie Hammler, and fellow challengers John Hilton, Ron Campbell, Evan Macbeth and Ken Reid.
