Central Loudoun Youth Football Adds Name to Patriot Cup

The Central Loudoun Youth Football League was the winner of the best is show prize during Leesburg’s Independence Day Parade.

Members of the Leesburg Daybreak Rotary Club judged the ninth annual competition and awarded the Patriot Cup to red, white and blue football-themed float.

Mayor David Butler was on hand to present the trophy, which will be engraved with the winner’s name and placed on display at the Leesburg Town Hall. The Patriot Cup competition is sponsored by Loudoun Now.

CLYFL was formed more than 40 years ago to provide a formal sports program for boys and girls in the central Loudoun/Leesburg area. CLYFL is a non-profit organization deriving all funding from registration fees, fundraising projects and donations from the area business community.
