Leadership Loudoun is completing its roster for the Class of 2017. Individuals with business or personal interests in civic or charitable service, leadership development or professional networking may apply for the program, but today is the deadline.
Leadership Loudoun creates community leaders by engaging professionals who live or work in Loudoun County in a nine month hands-on experiential curriculum. It is a fast-track to learning about the economy, government, education and history of Loudoun County. The program explores current economic and social issues and expands awareness of the Loudoun community and culture. Class members span the spectrum of business, government, and nonprofit industries. Professional coaching integrates with the community component to strengthen individual leadership capacity.
The program fee is $2,500 and an application fee of $50. Limited tuition assistance may be available.
During its 25-year history, Leadership Loudoun has graduated over 550 individuals. A key part of the program has been community impact projects. Starting with the Class of 2016, a Think Tank model to raise awareness and identify possible solutions to challenging, real world community issues.
Founded in 1991, Leadership Loudoun is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing leaders across sectors to work together to serve the good of Loudoun County.
