Gov. Terry McAuliffe last week appointed two Loudouners to state posts.
Dr. Tregel Cockburn, of Sterling, was appointed to the state Board of Veterinary Medicine. She is assistant dean and associate professor for the veterinary technology program at Northern Virginia Community College’s Loudoun Campus.
Robert W. Lazaro Jr. was reappointed to the Virginia Land Conservation Foundation. The former Purcellville mayor is acting executive director of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission.
