‘Scandal’ Actress to Campaign for Clinton in Ashburn

Bellamy Young, who plays the First Lady on ABC’s “Scandal,” will stop in Ashburn tonight to stump for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

The event is planned for 6 p.m. today at More Than Cheer, 44933 George Washington Boulevard, Suite 130-135, in Ashburn. Young will discuss Clinton’s plan to support small businesses.

The event is not open to the public, according to the Clinton campaign.

Young will make two other Northern Virginia campaign stops that the public is invited to attend. They are at 6:30 p.m. Friday at The Knife, at 14425 New Bedford Way, in Woodbridge; and at 10:45 a.m. Saturday in the Del Ray Neighborhood of Alexandria.

Young is the second “Scandal” star to campaign for Clinton in Loudoun County. Tony Goldwyn held an event in Leesburg on July 6.

This is a developing story. More details will be available shortly.

I guess “stump” is the new word for Fundraising as Hillary is jetting across our Country when she should be sitting down and answering very candid questions while hiding from the “real media”. Yet another photo-op for Lu-Ann Bennett, Kelly Burk, Dave Butler, Evan MacBeth, Ron Campbell, and the rest of the political elitist at the closed event (none of you minions allowed) before they courageously pull the lever for Hillary in November.
