Loudoun Live Rocks for Charities

Although the music may have been bigger than the crowd, organizers of the inaugural Loudoun Live concert in Leesburg on Saturday said they see a lot of potential for the event to raise more money—and awareness—for area charities in the years ahead.

The six-hour music festival at the Paxton Campus in Leesburg featured a lineup of well-known local performers, with Canadian alt-rock stars Lowest of the Low closing out the day with their first performance in the region.

The event was organized by United Way volunteers looking for a new—and fun—way to raise money for the community charities they support.
