The Loudoun County Community Children’s Health and Safety Fair will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22.
Fair vendors include Saving Loudoun’s Littles, offering free car seat inspections; Sterling Ted Britt Chevrolet; author Cindy Chambers; and the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company.
The event, from 10 a.m. to noon, is hosted by Community Kids Christian Preschool and will be held at Community Lutheran Church at 21014 Whitfield Place in Sterling. Safe Kids Fairfax County and Saving Loudoun’s Littles are partners in the event.
Safe Kids Fairfax County is led by the Inova Trauma Center in Falls Church as part of the global organization Safe Kids Worldwide. Saving Loudoun’s Littles—One Car Seat was formed in 2015 to conduct car seat safety events and educate parents and caregivers on the proper installation and use of their child safety seats. Child safety inspection events are held monthly. Also, the group is recruiting car seat safety technicians with the goal of growing the program across Loudoun County.
