Woodgrove Gymnastics Team Places First at Home Meet, Heads to Conference Championship

The team competed against squads from Loudoun Valley, Park View and Riverside high schools.

The Wolverines excelled in individual competition as well. Sophomore River Stone placed first on vault, third on bars, tied for first on floor and placed second all around; senior Sarah Snare placed sixth on bars, tied for fourth on vault, tied for fifth on beam, tied for first on floor and placed fourth all around; freshman Jodi Snare placed seventh floor, third on vault and fifth all around; freshman Erin Keane placed sixth on floor and tied for fifth on beam; and sophomore Erin Ramsey placed sixth all around.
The team competes again on Monday, Jan. 30, in conference championships. This meet will be held at Freedom High School and begins at 5:30 p.m.

Seniors Kaycee Delitta and Sarah Snare were honored at the event for their contributions to the team.
The Woodgrove High School Gymnastics team took first place at their home meet Jan. 24 in Purcellville.
