Those looking for an affordable place to live are encouraged to stop by the Northern Virginia Housing Expo on Saturday, March 18 at Dominion High School in Sterling.
Under the theme “Housing Opportunities for All,” the expo will showcase both homeownership and rental opportunities and resources throughout Northern Virginia and will feature a dozen workshops as well as many exhibits and one-on-one credit counseling. The workshops will focus on personal finance, rental resources and homebuying resources.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dominion High School is located at 21326 Augusta Drive in Sterling.
Staff members from the Loudoun County Department of Family Services will be on hand to share information on Loudoun County programs for renters and homebuyers.
Loudoun County is partnering with regional agencies to host the expo, which is sponsored by the Fairfax-based nonprofit AHOME Foundation in cooperation with the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA), the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, the counties of Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun, and the Town of Herndon.
