Suspect Sought in Ashburn Assault

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office detectives have released a composite sketch of the suspect in a March 17 assault in Ashburn.

According to the report, about 10:15 p.m. on Friday night, the victim was assaulted by a man in a parking lot on Blossom Hill Terrace in the Grove at Flynns Crossing neighborhood. She was treated for injuries described as serious but non-life-threatening.

The assailant fled with a passenger in a newer model, dark-colored, four-door car.

The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s; about 5-feet, 9-inches to 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with a slender build. He may have long black hair pulled back in a bun or may have worn a stocking cap. He was wearing black thin-rimmed oval glasses, a black long-sleeve shirt and black jogging pants, black high top sneakers with white lined soles.

A passenger was described as a Hispanic or Asian man, about 27 years old, 5-feet, 7-inches to 5-feet, 8-inches tall, with a muscular build and short, dark brown hair. He was wearing a white tank-top and blue gym shorts with two white stripes up the side of the shorts.
