Three Teens Face Charges in Sterling Robbery

After announcing Friday that a 16-year-old had been charged in connection with an alleged armed robbery that happened Thursday night near McFadden Square in Sterling, investigators identified two other suspects.

A second juvenile was apprehended Saturday afternoon. Charges are pending against a third suspect, according to the agency.

The victims, all juveniles, reported they were walking in the area of McFadden Square around 8:20 p.m. on June 1 when they were approached by three male suspects. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded money. The three suspects fled on foot. None of the victims was injured.
