Editor: Having retired from the military a year ago, I am a proud veteran who regards with the deepest respect all those who have worn the nation’s uniform and done their duty to keep us safe.
Barbara Comstock was recently named Legislator of the Year by the Virginia Council of the Military Officers Association of America. This is fitting thanks for the hard work she has done in Congress, from cosponsoring the Wingman Act, to the Veterans ID Card bill, to supporting the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention Bill. Representative Comstock has been an unwavering advocate for our military, their families, and our veterans. For that and for her focus on a strong national defense, she has my appreciation.
