The seventh in a series of art exhibits in Purcellville’s Town Hall features the works of Anne Marshall Block. The show, entitled “Beauty,” runs through September.
An artist reception with Block and members of the Purcellville Arts Council will be held Wednesday, July 26 from 5:30 to 7 pm.
Block’s lifelong love of the outdoors fostered her budding interest in an art career two decades ago, leading to her first class with artist Dodie Petro and many years of study with Penny Hauffe.
“The tranquility and aesthetic beauty of Loudoun and its surrounding counties helped to serve as my first inspirations for outdoor painting. I am always ready to capture my hiking, biking and traveling adventures on canvas,” Block said.
