The Town of Leesburg’s Economic Development Office will hold its quarterly HUBZone business meeting on Thursday, July 27, from 6-8 p.m. at the Mason Enterprise Center, at 202 Church Street SE.
Duane Nathaniel, president and CEP of Kalani Consulting, Inc. will be the featured speaker. He has more than 34 years of program and project management experience in the commercial and public sectors and will share his experience navigating the HUBZone application process and tackling the requirement that 35 percent of employees be HUBZone residents.
Kalani Consulting Inc. is an information technology services company founded in 2009. Its principal office is in Leesburg, with additional offices in Springfield. KCI became HUBZone certified in 2013.
A program of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the HUBZone helps small businesses gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities while increasing employment opportunities in economically distressed areas.
