Wexton Plans Town Hall Meetings

State Sen. Jennifer Wexton (D-33) announced Tuesday that she will hold a pair of town hall meetings as part of her campaign for the Democratic nomination in the 10th Congressional District.

“We’re now almost two weeks into Congress’ August recess and eight months into the calendar year. But our congresswoman, Barbara Comstock, still hasn’t held a public town hall even though constituents continue to ask her to,” Wexton said in a campaign video announcing the forums. “Since Barbara Comstock won’t face her constituents in an open forum, I’m doing it for her.”

The meeting will be held Saturday, Aug. 26 at Rust Library in Leesburg from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 31 at the Chantilly Library from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Democrats will choose their candidate for the November 2018 election during a primary next June. So far, there are seven other candidates, in addition to Wexton, vying for that nomination.

Yeah, but will she tell us if she is for the bridge or against the bridge from Virginia to Maryland. I’ve asked and it has been 10 days yet a big nothing burger is her way of taking on this important issue in the 10th district!

I did get a reply and answer from Senator Wexton, thank you!
That’s more then can be said for Comstock who has 3 times the staff working on the government dollar. Kids and No Show Comstock would be sitting at home if it wasn’t for Susan Falconer. She is guilty of being to good at her job and leaving us with a congresscritter like Comstock.
Thank goodness Shak Hill is opposing her on the republican side and Wexton on the democrat side. Both will be a massive improvement over Comstock. Who knew the good old days of Frank Wolf were really, so much better! To the left of Maxine Waters is Comstock she beats California crazy.

Jennifer Wexton is meeting with the people who make up the 10th district while Comstock is meeting with the pope hoping for some divine intervention that will help her keep her seat in congress.
Is it the site I am looking at or has Comstock’s net worth doubled in 3 years on a salary of 174k a year? Between her and her staff they cost the taxpayer a million dollars a year, are we getting our moneys worth?
