Woodgrove High School senior Paige Williamson got the experience of a lifetime earlier this month. She was one of 30 aspiring business students nationwide selected to participate in the Summer Business Academy at Harvard University.
The academy provides high school students with the knowledge and skills to lead, operate and pitch an entrepreneurial business concept. Throughout the week, the students learned how to build a financial model, marketing plan, research competition and plot a long-term business trajectory, from Harvard professors, business owners and Harvard students.
The program culminated with a presentation event, where students pitched their business ideas to the academy’s leaders. Paige’s project focused on competitive analysis and value proposition.
