Suspect Sought in Sterling Assault

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office detectives have released a composite sketch of a burglary suspect accused of attempting to enter a Sterling residence and assaulting a girl Friday night.

The victim reported around 9 p.m.on Friday that she saw a male entering through the kitchen window of her East Lee Road home. The suspect leaned in halfway through the window and then moved further through the window and assaulted her before leaving the area.

The suspect was described as a black male, with a heavier build, in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing a white T-shirt with writing on the front. The victim said had seen the suspect in the Sterling area a few days prior to the incident.
