Tarara Winery near Lucketts will wrap up its summer concert series Saturday, Sept. 30.
The 2017 Tarara Summer Music Festival presented by MainStreet Bank brought regional and national acts to Tarara’s stage in the woods by a lake. Since June, it’s brought cover acts like Boy Band Review, The Legwarmers, and Beatlemania Magic to the stage.
It’s also brought in food trucks and packed the lawn with dancing concertgoers.
On Saturday, Philadelphia-based Steal the Sky will take the stage playing rock, pop, and dance music from Rihanna to Led Zeppelin.
Rusty Foster, president of Bow Tie Strategies, which organized the events this year, said the concert series has been good for attendance and wine sales.
“And we’re receiving requests from well-known bands to play the concert series next year,” Foster said. “We’re already planning for the 2018 season and will have the scheduled announced in late December or early January. We’re ready to take the Tarara Summer Concert Series to the next level.”
This year’s concert series was sponsored by 92.5 WINC-FM, Loudoun Now, Best Western, Get Out Loudoun, SpeedPro Imaging, and BowTie Strategies. The title sponsor is MainStreet Bank.
