Play To Win, the new management company for the Fireman’s Field Complex and for Evergreen Sportsplex, has agreed to be the signature sponsor for the Purcellville Cannons baseball team beginning in the 2018 season.
The sponsorship includes having players wear a Play To Win patch on their jerseys, logo placement on the front cover of the Cannons program, signage and an opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the season’s opener in June.
The Cannons, part of the college-level Valley League, were the top seed in the North Division last season.
“This is about supporting baseball in Loudoun. We strive to ensure athletes have the opportunity not only to excel in sports, but also have the opportunity to be community leaders and role models,” stated Chris Bourassa, owner of Play To Win. “With us managing this amazing complex, we wanted to make sure the Cannons would remain at Fireman’s Field so our community could enjoy a fun, family outing this summer.”
“We are excited to have the support of Play To Win and are looking forward to a great partnership. It is truly a family affair for us and we put our hearts and souls into the success of this team and keeping the Cannons in Purcellville for years to come,” said Brett Fuller, the Cannon’s owner and manager.
The Cannons start practice in May and will play 21 regular season games at Fireman’s Field. The 2018 schedule has not yet been set.
