The first storefronts at Purcellville’s newest shopping center, Catoctin Corner, are just about ready to open.
The first stores will open this month and will include a Dunkin’ Donuts with a drive-through window, a Wink! Vision, SuperCuts and Heartland Dental. A Chipotle Mexican Grill will follow, opening in February. In March, a 5,400-square-foot Shell gas station will open, followed by a bank in May, a medical practice in July and a daycare in August.
“We feel like we’re getting there,” said Dallon Cheney, the KLNB Retail leasing agent for the property.
Currently, KLNB Retail has leased all but five of the shopping center’s storefronts. When all the businesses move in toward the second half of 2018, 41,600 square feet of retail space will be occupied.
Cheney said KLNB is still negotiating leases with a pizza restaurant, a cell phone store and a nail salon.
The six-acre Catoctin Corner shopping center, developed by Bill Holtzman, owner of the Holtzman Corp., is located directly across Rt. 287 from the Purcellville Gateway shopping center, which opened in 2012 and is more than twice the size in acreage and square feet of leasing space.
