Loudoun Chamber Hears from County Supervisors Jan. 18

As part of its PolicyMaker Series, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce will turn the spotlight to the county Board of Supervisors.

The Board of Supervisors Breakfast will be held 8-10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Washington Dulles Airport Marriott, 45020 Aviation Drive in Dulles.

“There are many important issues facing Loudoun County,” a press release from the Chamber stated, “a strained transportation system, the arrival of Metro, the Envision Loudoun process, a housing shortage, and a growing budget, just to name a few.”

The Chamber will ask county leaders to weigh in on those topics. The panel will feature: County Chairwoman Phyllis J. Randall (D-At Large); Vice Chairman Ralph M. Buona (R-Ashburn); Supervisor Matt F. Letourneau (R-Dulles), who chairs the Finance/Government Operations and Economic Development Committee; and Supervisor Geary M. Higgins (R-Catoctin), who chairs the Transportation and Land Use Committee.

Cost is $50 for Chamber members and $75 for non-members. Register at loudounchamber.org.
