Herring Enters Second Term as AG

Mark R. Herring was sworn in to his second term as Virginia’s attorney general on Saturday.

The Leesburg resident recruited a familiar face in retired Loudoun Circuit Court Judge Thomas D. Horne to administer the oath.

Herring is the first attorney general since Mary Sue Terry in 1990 to be reelected to the office.

Horne also administered the oath to Herring at the beginning of his first term.

Remember the raises he gave his people with the asset forfeiture money? We get to pay for that increase this year, what a AG?
