Purcellville Adds Millionaire with Lottery Scratch Off

Postal carrier Bill Malsch won the $4 million top prize in the Virginia Lottery’s Hot Millions Multiplier scratch off ticket series, the agency announced today.

The Purcellville resident purchased the winning ticket at the Shop N Save store on East Main Street.

While eligible to receive $4 million in payouts over the next 30 years, Malsch opted for a lump sum $2.25 million payment.

He said the winnings will go toward retirement and his children’s education.
