Pig’s Head Placed on South Riding Car

The discovery of a severed pig’s head on the hood of a car parked in a South Riding apartment complex is being investigated as a suspicious event.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, a resident found the frozen head last Monday morning, Jan. 29.

The owner of the car was located and had no knowledge of or explanation for the pig’s head.

Investigators determined the head was processed by a butcher in Pennsylvania who sells the item to businesses in the area, according to the Sherriff’s Office.
