The 14th annual Forum for Rural Innovation will be held March 9 at the Clarion Inn & Conference Center in Winchester.
The program runs from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes presentations on “Industrial Hemp: Crop of the Future;”
the Mid-Atlantic food port and agricultural accelerator proposed as a joint project between Loudoun and Fauquier counties; how to protect bee populations; and best business practices including social media.
“We want to give our farm businesses the tools they need to succeed,” stated Loudoun Economic Development’s Executive Director Buddy Rizer.
The deadline to register to attend the forum is March 2; the $45 registration fee includes a breakfast and lunch showcasing locally produced food.
