Letter: The Rev. W. Brown Morton III, Leesburg

Editor: I have decided to notify every future candidate for public office at the local, state, or national level that I will not vote for anyone who solicits or accepts funding from the National Rifle Association.

Children’s lives are more important to me than bullets.

I encourage your readers to join me in this exercise.

Thank you Mr. Morton. You’ve reminded me to step up my contributions to candidates who respect the Constitutional Rights of my children. Their freedoms are stronger than your fears.

Given the catastrophic malfeasance of government at every single level in Florida, I’m certain I have a much better handle on protecting me and mine than any regressive and factually ignorant political candidate does.

Well. I suppose that is time to spend.

Do you feel that strongly about Planned Parenthood money which dwarfs the NRA political spending?

Why is it that only the liberal clergy ever take a public stand?
