The Step Sisters will hold their 11th annual Ribbon Run/Walk on Saturday, April 21. Proceeds from the 5k race directly benefit local patients who are battling breast cancer.
The Ribbon Run/Walk has grown to be one of the area’s largest benefit events in Northern Virginia, drawing more than 2,000 runners and walkers to Brambleton Town Center.
The event features grab-n-go breakfasts, free massages and Sharon’s Showcase, an educational expo highlighting resources available in the area. New this year is a social media-integrated photo booth, free to all race participants.
“We are excited to hold our 11th annual Ribbon Run,” stated Ashley Campolattaro, race director and founder of the Step Sisters. “The atmosphere of the event has been incredible each and every year. We have neighbors supporting neighbors, teams walking for a loved one and employees fundraising for the Step Sisters in honor of a co-worker.”
