Update: Missing Sterling Man Found Dead in Park

Update: The body of Harry Schmalz of Sterling, who was last seen fishing Tuesday evening in the area of Seneca Regional Park, was found Saturday afternoon in Fairfax County. It appeared to be an accidental death.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office searching for a Sterling man was last seen yesterday.
Harry Schmalz, 56,  left the home Tuesday afternoon to go to  Great Falls Park. Schmalz’s was reported missing Wednesday afternoon and was seen in the area of Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling last night. He is an avid fisherman and he is known to takes walk in the regional parks.
He is 5-feet, 9-inches tall, 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing cargo shorts, a polo with a khaki vest and a khaki bucket hat with fishing lures.
