Ashburn Rotary to Hear from 10th District Dems

Five candidates vying for the Democratic nomination in the 10th Congressional District race will participate in an Ashburn Rotary Club forum Thursday.

The candidates are asked to talk about the reasons why they are running to represent Loudoun County in the U.S. House of Representatives. Those expected to participate in the forum are Julia Biggins, Alison Friedman, Dan Helmer, Lindsey Stove, and Sen. Jennifer Wexton (D-33). The sixth candidate, Paul Pelletier, has a scheduling conflict.

The six are competing in a June 12 primary. On that day, Republicans also will be selecting their nominee, choosing incumbent Barbara Comstock or challenger Shak Hill.

The Rotary Club event begins at noon May 31 at The 1757 Golf Club, 45120 Waxpool Road.
