We may be without snow yet, but the Christmas spirit is alive and well at the Village at Leesburg.
Several hundred packed the streets and storefronts Saturday to take part in the community’s annual tree lighting festival.
Santa arrived in a horse-drawn carriage and lit the musical tree. The five-story tree boasts 15,000 lights and performs daily music and light shows. The festivities Saturday included horse-drawn carriage rides, caroling and holiday characters. Guests also brought toys to be donated to Toys for Tots.
