A Loudoun Moment: A Day at StoneSprings Hospital

StoneSprings Hospital Center is Loudoun County’s second full-service hospital, opening its doors Dec. 7. The 234,000-square-foot, 124-bed facility is located at 24440 Stone Springs Blvd., near the intersection of Rt. 50 and Gum Spring Road. The opening of the $186.5 million medical center marks the end of a decades long effort by HCA to expand into the Loudoun market. Built on a 51-acre campus, the hospital includes a full-service, 24/7 emergency room, medical, surgical, labor and delivery, pediatric and intensive care services, a cutting-edge cardiac catheterization lab, and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and interventional equipment.
