The Town of Leesburg’s Economic Development Office will reschedule its quarterly HUBZone business that had been planned for Thursday, Jan. 28 at the Mason Enterprise Center at 202 Church Street SE.
A new date has not been set.
This quarter’s meeting will feature Steven Koprince, managing partner of Koprince Law LLC. His practice focuses on federal government contracts law. Representatives from the Mason Enterprise Center, the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center and the Leesburg Economic Development Office also will be on hand to answer questions.
A program of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the HUBZone program helps small businesses gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities while increasing employment opportunities in economically distressed areas. In an effort to assist local businesses with navigating the HUBZone certification process, the Leesburg Economic Development Office has partnered with local business owners who have completed the process successfully to present quarterly information sharing meetings.
