Leesburg Mayor David Butler will present the first “State of the Town” address during Town Council’s next meeting March 29.
Butler said it is part of his effort to better inform residents about town activities and priorities.
“Too often, Leesburg residents only hear about Town Council decisions when it is something that affects their own neighborhood,” Butler said. “With this State of the Town address, residents will hear a summary of how Leesburg has changed over the years, where we are today, and what they can expect over the next few years, including the Town Council’s plans for this year and beyond to improve the quality of life here in Leesburg.”
Butler encouraged residents to attend the meeting, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall or to watch on TV (Comcast channel 67 and Verizon FiOS channel 35) or the town’s Internet webcast.
