Flags across the country are flying at half-staff following the fatal shooting of police officers in Dallas, TX. But joining in the national observance wasn’t easy for the staff at Chick-fill-A in Leesburg.
The restaurant’s flagpole had a broken halyard and it would take more than a conventional ladder to repair the rope.
The Leesburg Volunteer Fire Department came to the rescue Saturday morning, bringing the town’s biggest ladder.
With the right tools at hand, the crew had the repair made in no time.
