Deputies Arrest DUI Suspect After Crash into Creek

After hitting a guardrail and driving into a creek, a 31-year-old Reston man faces his third DUI conviction within five years.

Loudoun County Sheriff Office deputies were called to the crash site in the area of Algonkian Parkway and Rutherford Court in CountrySide just before midnight Tuesday.

A witness reported that a man got out of the vehicle and walked away toward a path. Deputies searched the area and Marc A. Dixon was arrested. He was charged with misdemeanor hit and run and felony DUI-third offense in 5 years.

He was held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
