LCSO: Suspicious Sterling Death was Overdose

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has closed the books on its investigation into the July 1 death of a Sterling woman, concluding there was no foul play.

The result of the investigation was announced today following the completion of a report by the Office of the Medical Examiner, which found the cause of death was an overdose of prescription medication.

The 24-year-old woman was found dead by a family member shortly after 11:45 a.m. on July 1 inside her garage apartment on Cardinal Glen Circle.

The Sheriff’s Office investigates suspicious or unattended deaths as a homicide until proven otherwise.
