The Leesburg Business Appreciation Awards last night paid homage to the town’s best and brightest new, and long-running, businesses as well as its leading corporate citizens.

The Visit Loudoun Visitor’s Center team earned honorable mention honors in the Ambassador Awards category.
Friends of Leesburg Public Arts won the Ambassador Award.
Lana Heaslip, of ECHO, accepts the Community Steward Award.
AH&T earned honorable mention honors in the Community Steward award category.
Plumb Grove (Re)Cyclery earned an honorable mention in the Environmental Award category.
Station Autowash won the Environmental Award.
Mike McLister, of McLister Enterprises, LLC, took home honorable mention in the Heritage category.
Tryst Gallery owner Jim Sisley displays his two awards, the winner in the Innovations Award category and runner up in the Public Art category.
Daniela Williams of Cucinamore LLC won honorable mention honors for both the Home-base Business Award and Innovation Award.
Ever Johnson of Trinity House Café accepts the Heritage Award.
Home-Based Business Award went to Blue Lion Multimedia, which help area nonprofits and community initiatives with video productions.
The Public Art Award went to Loudoun Lyric Opera director Pamela Butler. A Leesburg resident, Butler started the opera company in 2007 and it has produced 28 shows in Loudoun County since then.
