Free Document Shredding Offered June 10 in Leesburg

       For Leesburg residents worried about identity theft, the town’s Department of Public Works & Capital Projects is offering a free community document shredding event on Saturday, June 10, at Leesburg Elementary School.

Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. residents may bring up to three boxes of documents to be destroyed at the school, 323 Plaza St NE. Typically, nearly 10,000 pounds of documents are shredded and recycled during the events.
