As said by many at the parade, I wish we could leave the politics out of the Parade as we go to enjoy and unify as a Town. The only truly, truly negative aspect of the Parade was the “Dump Comstock” blue balloons and the float running negative ads, which is very saddening. Many balloons had a future running opponent (Weston) sticker on them. You can read more about the “Dump Comstock Team” on their homepage, which has a photo of the Equality Loudoun folks taken at Ida Lee Park prior to the Independence Day Parade.

Agreed with the earlier comment. The Dump Comstock protestors were a boil on the backside of what was a truly wonderful parade. Leave it to a certain disgruntled segment of liberals to ruin an otherwise patriotic and unifying community event. Ms. Manners would be terribly disappointed.

I think the photo gallery here is a major injustice to all of those children that walked in the parade.

At least maybe 20 to 50 photos should be in this gallery.

    Unless the camera broke.

The parade is only once a year. I could be wrong.
