Loudoun County-based 100WomenStrong is now accepting applications for grant funding. Nonprofit organizations that serve Loudoun residents and wish to be considered for this grant cycle must submit a Letter of Intent by 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30.
100WomenStrong is a group of concerned area residents and business people who strategically support organizations and programs that enhance the lives of Loudoun residents. Its grants fund programs that address issues in the following areas: health, hunger, education, shelter.
Letters of Intent should include: the name and purpose of the organization; dollar amount of grant request; description of the proposed project; and an explanation of the importance of the proposed project to Loudoun residents. They can be no more than one page in length, in 11-point font or larger, and should be emailed to LettersofIntent@onehundredwomenstrong.org as a PDF attachment with the name of the organization in the subject line of the email. Organizations that submit a Letter of Intent will be notified of the status of their applications by Jan. 2, 2018.
