A naked man was apprehended on Dulles Airport property after causing an accident by running through traffic on Rt. 28.
Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokesman Rob Yingling said several cars swerved to avoid the individual on Rt. 28, causing an accident. The person was apprehended on airport property but not in an area that affected passengers or flight operations. Witnesses reported the man was naked.
Commuters on Rt. 28 reported seeing the person flee into the woods. Airport police were joined by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and Fairfax County Police in searching for the man.
First responders are working to reopen traffic along Rt. 28.
